Buckhorn Public Arts (BPA) is creating an open call for sister cities artists to participate in an Aspen Sister Cities art display in downtown Aspen from June 2026 through June 2027. BPA’s Copper Mall Murals will be updated this year, aiming to showcase works from artists from our sister cities on the mural fencing.
Artists are requested to provide a high-resolution digital file of their 2D work for consideration (all art mediums accepted). Selected works will be laid out and presented along the 100′ long fencing as a showcase of our sister cities network. BPA will handle all costs of the project including design, printing and installation.
Past versions of the Fencing were dedicated to two artists, each with long mural like works.
Edition One
Who can participate: Artists from Abetone, Bariloche, Chamonix, Davos, Garmisch-P, Queenstown and Shimukappu.
