We are committed to sharing ideas and cultures through the international exchange of students and community members throughout Aspen and the greater Roaring Fork Valley. Sister City relationships around the world foster communities to develop cultural and historical bonds, increase youth education opportunities, and consider emerging global issues. Aspen Sister Cities is a member of Sister Cities International and shares its mission to promote peace through mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation – one individual, one community at a time.

Aspen Sister Cities (ASC) is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and compensated members. ASC is supported by contributions, membership dues, City of Aspen and Town of Snowmass Village grants, and fundraising activities. The ASC chapter maintains annual membership with Sister Cities International (SCI).
