Six medical professionals from Bariloche visited Aspen for the annual Aspen Bariloche Medical Exchange Program (April 14-22). The delegation was made up of two orthopedic surgeons, an anesthesiologist, two physical therapists and a dentist. For their professional activities they were hosted by Aspen Valley Hospital, Valley View Hospital, Sopris Rehab Specialists and Dr. Robert Christensen. During this exchange, Dr Robert Christensen of Aspen was given a plaque from the Bariloche sister cities committee recognizing his “service, dedication and humanity” during nearly twenty years of participation in the medical exchange program. Our thanks to Mountain Chalet of Aspen and the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs for providing housing for this year’s exchange.
