Last March, a group of seven students from Aspen High School (AHS) participated in the exchange to Chamonix, France. The chaperones were AHS French teacher Jane Larson and Adam Cheney, 8th grade teacher at AMS. The students shared a presentation slideshow for the Aspen Sister Cities committee and talked about their great experience in our sister city. In April, Chamonix patroller Luc Desille completed his ski patrol exchange on Aspen Mountain, where he worked the whole season. He was here with his two sons, who attended Aspen Middle and High Schools. This professional and cultural exchange started in 1993, in collaboration with Aspen Skiing Company.
