Nolan Balmat, from our sister city of Chamonix, France has been in Aspen since August, 2022. He has been going to Aspen High School this year and has had many amazing experiences from playing hockey with his host brother and training all winter in Glenwood Springs, to traveling with the team, to winning, to going on Ex Ed, to going to the prom, to learning to fly an airplane, to snowboarding and so much more.
Jill Sheeley has been his local coordinator and checks in with him monthly. This has been a one-way exchange.
Nolan has been lucky to have been hosted by the Steenge-Hart family and the connection to this family has been ideal.
