In late February and early March, Aspen hosted the annual Aspen Bariloche Medical Exchange Program. Seven medical professionals from Bariloche participated representing hospital administration, orthopedics, physical therapy, dentistry, anesthesiology, and pediatrics. Aspen Valley Hospital, Valley View Hospital, Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital and many valley medical professionals were very generous in participating in and supporting this exchange. We also owe a big thank you to Craig Melville and the Aspen Rotary Club for their support of this program. Aspen will return the visit by going to Bariloche in late September. Of special mention is Dr. Mark Purnell whose Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation continues to sponsor this program as they have done for the last 15 years!
