Ruben Velazquez from Bariloche completed his ski patrol exchange to Aspen. He worked as a fulltime patroller at Aspen Highlands during the 2023/24 winter season. So successful was his experience that he has been invited to return to the Highlands next year as a “returning patrolman.” Ruben traveled to Aspen with his two kids, who attended Aspen High School during the time they lived here. This exchange program is possible thanks to the collaboration with Aspen Skiing Company.

Due to his dedication, diligent work and positive attitude, he has been invited to return to Highlands for the 24/25 season.
